Frozen Droplet, Medium: 14k Goldfill
This ring is made by heating a pile of 14k goldfill with the torch until it starts to melt. Once in a liquid state, we use tungsten tools to shape the metal before soldering it to a silver band. The goldfill looks very pale gold, almost like the fruit of a banana (not the peel!). Because these rings are made one at a time, you can expect yours’ to be unique (not cast!) and slightly different from the images. Melted goldfill often looks reticulated or pitted like the face of the moon.
The medium ELARA is about 1/2” across.
