HEDRON STUDIO POLICIES, INFORMATION AND FAQs



SHIPPING

If pieces are marked “Ready to ship” they will generally ship within 7 days of purchase.  If pieces are made-to-order, they will generally ship 2-6 weeks after purchase. Please email us if you need a rush shipping and we will discuss timing.  We always provide tracking numbers.

PACKAGING

Your Hedron piece will arrive in a jewelry box with our logo, ready to open or gift.

SHIPPING DAMAGE

Although it has never happened yet to any of our pieces, if a piece is damaged when you receive it, please email us immediately with pictures and we will determine the issue and replace or repair your piece.  Emails received the day of receipt will be considered shipping damage.  

RETURNS

All sales are final.  If an item is purchased by mistake, or you would like to change your order please contact us at info@hedronstudio.com and if we haven’t yet made or shipped your piece we can exchange it.

EXCHANGES

All Hedron Studio sales are final. Exchanges may be made on a case-by-case basis; just email us about your order.  If you want to exchange an order, there is a restocking fee (this ranges from 10-50$ depending on the piece). Please email us at info@hedronstudio.com and we will be happy to make sure the Hedron pieces you end up with are ones you love. 

METALS

We enjoy working with a variety of materials: Sterling Silver, 14k, 18k Solid Gold, 14k Gold-filled, jeweler’s brass, mild steel, bronze, aluminum, etc. We source our precious metals from Rio Grande, which supplies high quality American made 100% recycled metals.  

STONES

We source our gemstones from Rio Grande, the New York/New Jersey Gem Show, from the Herkimer Diamond mines in upstate New York, and from direct sellers online.  Please ask for the provenance of a specific stone if you are interested.  We love using vintage stones and heirloom stones - we dont source unethically sourced stones.

REPAIR

We make each Hedron piece to be worn and enjoyed for many years.  If your piece breaks or is damaged, please photograph and email us details. We will determine the cause of the problem, and come up with a plan to fix or replace.  If the problem comes from normal wear and tear, and not from a fabrication issue, we will issue a repair invoice before starting any repair. We do not cover broken stones! If a stone breaks, we are often able to replace it, and will discuss fees before fixing. If your piece has been worked on by another jeweler, we do not guarantee their work. 

REPLACEMENTS

If you lose a single earring we are happy to replace it for half the cost of the pair.  If you lose a piece of jewelry and want to commission a look-alike replacement, please get in touch. 

FIND YOUR RING SIZE

The best way to get your ring sized is to come to our studio in Hudson and do a sizing in person. If that is not possible, we recommend you get your fingers sized at any local jewelery shop (or ideally get sized at several shops and tell us both sizes). We also sell ring sizers for $2.

RESIZING RINGS

Most rings can be resized. Each resizing process is different and the fee charged for each resize will be assessed individually (price can range from $10 for a simple half size larger to $250 or more for a complex gold project). Contact us to discuss resizing your ring.

IS ALL JEWELRY UNISEX?

Yes! Of course is it. Jewelry doesn’t have a gender. Wear what you want.
